Privacy

What we collect

• When you sign up: your name, email address and profile picture, from Google, Facebook or the form you fill in.
• Optionally, a phone number. Dealers and finance institutions must give one so we can call to confirm their application.
• What you post: dealership details, car listings and their photos.
• Your favourites and language setting, which stay in your own browser.

We never receive your Google or Facebook password. We do not sell your information.

Why

To sign you in, show your listings to buyers, let an admin review dealer applications, and contact you about your account. A dealer's name, listings and public contact details are visible to everyone.

Who handles it for us

Sign-in is run by Google Firebase. Our database, photo storage and servers run on our own hosting provider's servers. Text messages to dealers are sent through AfroMessage.

Financing requests

If you send a financing request from a dealer's page, we share the name, phone number, loan amount and any details you typed with that dealer, by notification and text message, so they can contact you. We keep the request so the dealer can see it.

How long we keep it

Your account stays until you ask for it to be deleted. A listing marked as sold is deleted automatically after 5 days, with its photos.
